My #ESC250 votes for the 2025 poll.
Pretty much my standard fare: female bops and ballads, some older tunes, ten different countries and four songs not in English.

Vive la diversité relative! 🙌🏻

Ah, yes, a Dutch #AgathaChristie reader!

(Looking forward to the no doubt spooktacular second Hallowe’en #SwingingChristies episode!)

My 2025 #NFC100 votes.
I may have taken a backseat from the wonderful @aussievisionnet.bsky.social this year, but my annual #justiceformirela campaign continues unabated!

Do vote for your favourites by the Mon, 27 October deadline and tune into ESCape Radio on Sat, 8 November to listen.

And given the problems associated with the term “(golf) links”, avoided in the French #TitleinTranslation shown above which reads “The Golf(ing) Murder”, other language versions go further off course.
The Italian translates to 'Help, Poirot', a ref. to the victim’s request for Hercule’s aid.

Travels with David Suchet, Agatha Christie and a certain @markaldridge.info

Thank you, SBS, for airing this (relatively) soon after its UK broadcast 🙌🏻

We take a #Poirot break in Tuesday’s #AgathaChristie #TitlesinTranslation with a standalone novel (despite an ITV Marple!) asserting that ‘Murder is Easy’ - which is disputed by @PastMortems fab book!

The high body count does point to the murderer’s relative success tho. That poor canary! 🐤

Thank you for reading!
How is this Christmastime novel dealt with in other languages you may know?

After a mammoth run, we take a break from Poirot for a #Christie standalone (and a personal favourite of mine!).

“It's very easy to kill—so long as no one suspects you.” *shudder*

Time for our Hungarian bonus!

It translates to “Someone rings a bell” and has - arguably - a twofold meaning. Many people arrive at the house and ring the door bell, which is answered by the butler whose recollection of doing so merges … Hasn’t he done this before? 🤔 Is this another clue? 🔎
