Gorguts - Pliaidie’s Dust - I probably spelled that wrong, but this is one incredible 30 minute progressive metal masterpiece. Gorguts was amazing live, so so so glad they had some vinyl with them!

Gorgatron is a super fun old school death metal throwback with excellent vocals, blistering leads, and a great live presence. These guys played their asses off for a small crowd and made sure everyone went home happy. I laughed a lot at the crowd banter between songs, great atmosphere!

The Spiritual Sound by Agriculture is an awesome follow up to last years contender for best EP by any band ever, Living is Easy. I haven’t spent time giving this band to Elissa, you really should, and if you get a chance to see them live absolutely make sure you do it. They are even better live.

Mares of Thrace - The Loss; saw this Canadian duo open for Conan and they absolutely tore it down. Cannot speak more highly of this group, hope they make their way back down to Louisiana!
