The reason I didn't fully register this sooner (and why this isn't a video upload) is because I mashed through the dialogue during my minimum B button run, not fully paying attention. Only remembered this later while writing the script for the video I'm planning. (3/4)

While I was doing my minimum B button run of Brothership, I unintentionally found a new interaction. If you don't talk to the Fortress Zokket shopkeeper a single time on either visit, and then lower the bridge prior to the Extension Corps fight, this happens. (1/?) 🧵

Also so this post is at least SOMEWHAT organized, I've attached Diventri's lore to this reply (as originally typed on Discord cause I'm feeling too lazy to type it again lmaoooo.)
Pronouns are she/her, and she's trans. (Cause why not.) She's the result of a failed experiment on Ten's part. Ten tried to make a supersoldier for himself, based on Zokket's blueprints for a Zok Trooper. But SOMEHOW (and Ten isn't sure how to this very day,) the sample of Glohm he procured for the experiment from Bulbfish Island was contaminated with Lowden's DNA. So instead of a supersoldier... coming out of the tube, tumbling to the ground was Diventri. An experiment with elements of Zok Trooper parts, and a mixed red/blue color scheme as a result of the Glohm sample, but primarily Concordian. Ten was not too pleased about the results, and though he would come to regret this many years later, he had Mega Snaptor basically hurl Diventri all the way to Lottacoins Island. The doorstep she just so happens to crashland onto... belongs to Metectica. After a series of questions (due to Diventri having literally zero memories,) Metectica winds up remarking "...Y'know, I've never seen a Concordian quite like you. Very interesting. You're... quite the anomaly. An eccentricity, a divergence, a--" And then suddenly, Diventri spits out her name. Diventri winds up being a sort of "social translator" for Metectica. Since Metectica is VERY literal, and a lot of people kinda get turned off from working with him as a result, Diventri translates what he actually means. And a lil later on, Diventri finally learns the words for what she's been feeling about herself for so long: that something's wrong. And so she transitions. :)
