I thought that back in the day but various aspects of the game put me off for years, but picked it up again recently and put my reservations aside. Also the custom song community over at CustomForge does magic work.

Would recommend a liberated copy of 2014 though with all the songs and not the new sub based version.

I've not played Gems of War for YEARS so don't know how (or even if) they've changed the f2p aspects of the game (for the worse) but I did enjoy it and always felt like I got do something without paying (assuming you're not getting far too sweaty about everything).
