I loved Edward Norton, the actor who protrayed Dr. Nova in the last five seconds of Alita: Battle Angel (2019) (This is legitimately the first thing I think of when his name comes up)

Nintendo, Astral Chain 2/Xenoblade X-2, etc.

I don't mean this as an OLD GOOD NEW BAD thing--the last couple of years have produced some all-timer anime--but I really think the industry has completely lost the ability to produce anything remotely close to this vibe.
