This recent chapters made me think of The Song of Saya where our protagonist can end up in a twisted love and abandon his morality, before switching to another character who has to stop them.

Denji one ended up with him learning about what he did, maybe Asa is gonna learn about who she actually is.

In Part 1, Denji (who was then a normal human) managed to suppress his memory of killing his father. A devil could easily do the same.

And after Fami takes Yoru away, Asa is still capable of using her powers. This might be a indication that Asa has always had this powers without her knowing.

And in the next chapter, Yoru talks about how Asa’s brain sees her as an hallucination. Her phrase might gain a new meaning if you assume that rather than being a separate being, Yoru was always a part of Asa.

Indeed, Yoru only appeared after Asa had a whole speech about how she wants to live more selfishly. Might be a coincidence. But it could also mean that another part of War Devil decided to appear to help her realize her dream.
