We should normalize having pretty lights up all winter long. After all, the night is dark and full of terrors.

I had a terrible habit of procrastinating on small chores forever. I eventually settled on a life rule that has served me very well: if you see a task/chore that needs to be done around the house/work, and you can do it in 3 minutes or less, do it right then and there. It’s remarkably effective.

I’d have added System Of A Down to that list. Only four official albums (plus one of B-sides), but massively influential. Maybe Faith No More as well, only five albums with Patton (includes reunion later), they’re your favorite band’s favourite band.

If they were ‘checking’ the UCP’s agenda, they’d fight it tooth and nail. Instead it’s smiles and back patting. The UCP *is* the fossil fuel lobby, and they’re on board with the federal plan. Nothing good will come of this.

I’m surprised I missed that a few days ago, your post was the first I’d seen about scrapping that law. Yet another disappointment, throw it on the pile. The NDP better pick the right leader from their race, right now it’s cons all the way down over here.

One of my very favorite bands; that album was such a revelation, and their growth since has been incredible to hear. Their Olympics performance remains metal’s global high water mark, IMO.

The CCS support is the *most* disappointing item in that budget. It has never show to be effective at its task, it’s massively expensive, and it’ll encourage even more FF expansion. But some foreign shareholders are
going to make bank, so Carney loves it. Brutal.
