B5 was a pioneer in computer modeling for sci-fi. It gets better each year. So does the story

As one character says early in the series, "No one here is exactly what he appears"

I was put off by the first 2 years of #Babylon5. Nearly every episode intro'd more people and places and events. But why? Where was JMS (the creator) going with this. But wow, he was going somewhere!
The main arc story, esp. from s3e8 to s4e6, is probably TV's finest year. It is well worth the wait
