Researching the far-right. Also posts about nerdy stuff.

If you are still interested in Boyce, here is a particularly odious Tweet of his talking about the rise in Nick Fuentes's popularity, decrying the "sexual revolution corrupted west."

Thank you for this wonderful work.

You can especially see this dynamic in this conversation (which includes his wife disagreeing with him in part). He is careful not to be too overt with his views when he's pushed back on, but he certainly holds them.

I believe he is a crypto-white nationalist. He is more open about it in certain interviews than others, in part because not every right-winger he is friends with is one. Over the past few years he has been radicalized more and more into "race realism," but his main schtick is transphobia.

(By tracking I mean his talking points, what far-right figures he's promoting and agreeing with, etc. He likes to present himself as a unifier of the "dissident right.")

I have been tracking him and the people he's talked to for a little while now. If you have specific questions you can DM me or otherwise reply here.

The effect—and why it is incredibly irresponsible of Baron-Cohen to not have researched Dutton's very public views, assuming he didn't know—is that Dutton is able to portray Baron-Cohen as ultimately agreeing with him.

But Dutton was able to push Baron-Cohen into agreeing that autism is an acceptable defense against accusations of hate speech, and that it is a reasonable accommodation under the Equality Act to not shut down hate speech if it is done by an autistic person, at least to an extent.
July 23, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Baron-Cohen had some minor pushback—he argued that there are certain things that society can generally agree are actually hateful, which Dutton reinterpreted as society may collectively believe something that is untrue. It is possible Baron-Cohen was not aware of Dutton's history.

This is a particular preoccupation for Edward Dutton. He has, since the beginning of his online career, attempted to bring in autistic people who are already susceptible to some of these arguments and tell them that they are right to question society's norms (around race and genetics in particular).

I mean... Gavin McInnes, in a way.
