No need to blame yourself.
On a side note, MilitaryNewsUA noticing the nature of the missile and publishing about it seems a bit weird to me.

Mirage 2000-5F moved from Magic II to Mica IR long ago, keeping the ability to fire them.
However Mirage 2000C were equipped with this missile till their withdrawal (squadron 2/5 till 2022).
The missile was also used by Mirage 2000D till the RMV upgrade program ending this year.

FYI
It was discussed in another thread.
A R550 Magic II is seen under the wing of a Mirage 2000 in today's video released by the Ukrainian Air Force.
All French Mirage 2000D will be upgraded by the end of the year. This makes their small R550 stock fully available.

There are 4 topics.
- 3 agreements revolving around Energy, Transportation, Defence (unknown), Water.
- a 3-year focus on drones, anti-drones, guided bombs.
- 8 SAMP/T. (hints) Probably concurrent with French and Danish deliveries.
- up to 100 rafale, met by Dassault with a terse announcement...
November 17, 2025 at 3:58 PM
As you noted, there are 2 rafale to be ordered in 2026 to replace those lost in 2024.
And 45 rafale F5 to be ordered in 2029. Some are required in 2033 to qualify the new nuclear model/doctrine by 2035/6.

All aircraft in tranche 4 and 4+ have already been built, although not all have been delivered yet.
Beyond that, there are 42 Rafale C to be delivered as part of Tranche 5.

Incidentally, it is curious to doubt the honesty of the French Chief of Staff's comments when he has nothing to sell and is speaking very officially in a Senate hearing, with all the obligations that this entails.

However, if the interceptor missile (hit-to-kill) does not have the aerodynamic qualities to accommodate the changes in trajectory in the final phase of Russian missiles, there will be no interception. This is what the Aster 30 manages to do, according to Ukrainian feedback.
November 9, 2025 at 2:27 PM
It should also be noted that the missile's own radar operates in a mode that also favours the PAC3 MSE compared to an older version of the Aster 30.

The only accurate comment I have read is the one that points out that the Arabel radar is less effective than those equipped on the Patriot for intercepting ballistic missiles. That is entirely correct.

The first aircraft to be delivered are not the first to be replaced. You already have a double counterexample with aircraft sold to Greece and Croatia.

Personal speculations: Ukraine is eyeing some Rafale of the existing fleet, Rafale which may be subject to an early replacement. The French may have another destination in mind though.

Such news come from Ukraine. Dassault and the French authorities have been rather quiet about the matter. They seem reluctant to comment publicly on the subject.
There were already discussions pre war and financial guarantees are now even more of a problem.

I got more information. The delivery of 10 H160 is supposed to start in the following weeks (at last!). They also require 22 H145 to be ordered in 2026 (strict deadline).
If a deal is to be made with Uruguay, it's more likely to materialize in 3-4 years. (guessing).

They currently have 26 AS 350, obviously old, some are corroded and can't fly anymore. 15 EC 135 and 15 EC 145. They are being replaced by H160 and H145 D3. My understanding is that the delivery of the H160 fleet is long overdue.
