I’ve been reading all the comments on this conversation, Tim, and I have not seen anyone lash out at you. Everyone is being calm and quite respectful. Perhaps you are a bit defensive.

My family and I stopped purchasing from Amazon at the beginning of 2025. I’ve been encouraging others to do the same. If there are people who have not cancelled their WaPo subscription they need to do it now as well.

The only expectation is for people to do the best they can given their own circumstances. Luckily I live in a metro area and have a few local options. As I explained to my family, before Amazon existed we did not have to have most things shipped to our door within a day or two.
