My takeaway is that it doesn’t matter if you do pull it out or not.

But I’m glad you see something different

Of course not. But you should periodically question your beliefs and engage with people who disagree with you.

Most likely. I’ve seen people be banned here for very mundane and true beliefs. All from the right.

It will be a leftist echo chambers like Threads. It’s shameful.

Terrible way to look at it.

In order to surrender to evil, you must be adapt at determining what is and is not evil.

You’re not there yet.

If that’s what you think of us, no wonder you lost. You’re very confused.
November 23, 2024 at 2:24 PM
I mean kinda makes more sense than “oh no Elon let conservatives speak again on X, therefore we lost”

Makes a hell of a lot more sense than “people who voted for Obama decided not to vote for Kamala because racism” or “millions of Americans have been duped by Russia even tho we can’t prove it”

You just know by looking.

You can do it too.

Remember that power is not dominance.

It is competence.

I wish you well.

Friend, what exactly do you think I’m wrong about? What exactly is your claim at this point?
November 22, 2024 at 10:40 PM
Trump put the Republican Party in its place.

It’s that simple. We now understand we can’t ignore reality anymore and keep screwing over the American people.

It took strength to realize. It’s your turn now.

Yes it’s rooted in it but it is not empiricism itself. That’s a much older philosophical model that helped determine truth prior to formal science.

You could make a stretch argument and say it was early science, but so were other philosophical models as well then
November 22, 2024 at 10:35 PM
Science isn’t empirical proof tho.

That’s conflation. Science can produce empirical proof but it can also produce nothing. Science is a process.

Oops. Guess you didn’t know as much as you thought…
November 22, 2024 at 10:26 PM
Right argumentation us important but you said that we didn’t know things prior to science.

And argumentation is older than formal science.

So… yeah you contradicted yourself.
November 22, 2024 at 10:23 PM
🤣

Argumentation is older than formal science. Nice job contradicting yourself.
November 22, 2024 at 10:19 PM
It does. We understood things prior to science. Science has been a great thing for humanity, but it’s not the only method for determining the truth.
November 22, 2024 at 10:12 PM
I don’t think you believe that.

Maybe you believe something like opinions without information aren’t worth agreeing with.

One of the fatal flaws of science however is that it ignores tradition and common sense in favor of only what’s measurable.

But you don’t only believe in what’s measurable.

Okay so now you recognize he only had 4 years. Wonderful.

So how does Trump, while being investigated with 90s style “Russia brainwash” disinformation, and trying to run the country while being fought by people who had no problem with fences or borders prior to 2016, get it done in four years?
November 22, 2024 at 9:47 PM
Now please for the fourth time.

Which specific topic are we discussing? I won’t ask again I’ll just assume border since you think Trumps been active president for eight years
November 22, 2024 at 9:46 PM
Because people deserve to hear different opinions. And some leftists (like yourself) actually bother with disagreement and debate.

You’re actually interacting with someone you have a genuine chance of getting to admit they’re wrong. I hope you take the chance better from here
