The international community must communicate in no uncertain terms that it is unlawful and unacceptable for the United States to threaten the sovereignty of other countries, and that this will not be tolerated.

@ianhanomansing.bsky.social, I agree with many of the comments concerning the framing. The repeated “51st state” language is a disinformation tactic intended to normalize the idea. You might consider language that calls a spade a spade, such as “Reactions to U.S. annexation threats”.
