Continuing my journey through Silksong - the introduction to Pharloom and the Chapel Maid. (slight early game spoilers)

A comic about Hallowknight: Silksong with slight early game spoilers. It's another comic of my journaled journey through the game. The layout is loose without set panels and things flow across the page like notes in a notebook. It begins with a hand-lettered title reading "Pharloom" with the subtitle "Our holy, yet haunted land." Underneath is a drawing of a large bug with a hunched back and a face mostly hidden by the frayed cloak she wears. She's labeled as "Chapel Maid" With a side note that reads "She knows more than she says?". Notes pointing to the swirly staff she holds say "Bell-like shape? Reminds me of the shamans snails at home" and "will smack you". A box to the right of the chapel maid says "I awoke to being repeatedly hit. I would not be dying on some bug's floor." ...Would anyone be interested in seeing that Silksong travel journal I've been making?

It'll be full of spoilers (for act 1, so far), but I've been back and forth a bunch on whether to share any of it or not, or whether to just pick out excerpts and pretty them up as fan art. (Sherma for preview!)

Guess it's about time!
My cat black cat, Inkling, looms above me on a shelf, staring down at me with large, unhinged eyes with one fang visible, indicating my certain doom. My grey tabby cat, Cipher, stares at me from the rug, where she's rolled on her side with her head flipped back behind her to give me a bewildered stare. Between the way she has her front paws tucked up and the way her ears press inot the ground, fully alert, she looks nothing more than like a shocked bunny-cat.
