Also I don’t give a fuck if it’s “processed” we need more vegan alternatives and options and it might be self serving for me and some of my friends but also it is better for the planet to consume less meat.

Maybe whoever wins will generously donate the other 50% I have seen it happen! But it should just be a cash donation drive, I totally agree.

I think they might be doing this because typically this time a year a lot of people do food drives but most food banks have stopped accepting food donations and opt for cash instead because they can buy more at a subsidized rate but I see what you’re also saying about the 50/50.
