Black Hollyhock flowers are my favorite fugitive #naturaldye. Will this blue last? Nope. It will slowly shift into gray. I’m cool with that.

It’s instant color gratification.

On my Patreon, I wrote about how different fibers absorb dye. This flower is a great example.

Last year my dyeing focused on using 20g skeins. They are so handy when trying a new dye. But maybe not as handy when you like to knit large projects.

Dyes from left to right:
Black Walnuts (x3)
Black Walnut Leaves (x2)
Rabbitbrush (x2)
Gymnoplis mushroom

Finished my first-ever, all-over knit sweater. Lace isn’t my first love, but this pattern was easy to remember and quickly became an enjoyable rhythm.

At this point, I really like it without sleeves.

Pattern: #strombolitee from Boyland Knitworks

Yarn: wool #mushroomdyed with Dyer’s Polypore

Thought I’d introduce myself with a handful of cheerful yarn. Naturally dyed with avocado.
