Really happy with how the glaze came out on my spoons

Bigger and biggerer!
I love making hand building templates, it’s fun to pull out a compass and ruler and calculator to figure out pleasing proportions.

Throwback to this gorgeous ramen bowl I threw in 2018. My kiddo loved this bowl and then dropped it a few years ago and it broke 💔

I took my 5yo to pottery drop in a couple of times this week. He made a lot of items and so I’ve made him a paint palette that I’ll fire with white glaze to be ready for him to use to mix underglazes on

Love the way this pale green glaze turned blue on the Plainsman coffee clay

The cracked mug repaired with Ware Repair, rebisqued, painted with underglaze (didn’t stick perfectly to the glue) and dipped in clear. It sealed and didn’t shatter when it was filled with boiling water! Success!

Playing around with a new to me shape. I think I’ll be exploring different wall shelf/wall alter designs and configurations for a while 🕯️

Cute mug I’m working on, 3 hours so far (unless you count the first attempt i ended up smashing, then it’s 6 hours 🤣)

Here’s the repaired mug from the other day, the ware repair seems to have worked but it left an ugly shiny coating where it was applied (I forgot to take a photo). I covered it with underglaze painting and then dipped in clear glaze… fingers crossed that it sticks to the glue?

This mug got a bit too wet when I was working on it at leather hard so it got a crack in the bisque firing. Trying out bisque glue and refiring it to see what happens 🤞🏻 I’ve never used this product before but it’s worth a try #pottery

I got back into pottery this winter after a 6 year unintentional break. It’s been so nice getting to do something I really enjoy after so long away. This incense chiminea was hand built after I threw the base on the wheel… Every step was full of challenges but we carry on.
