It feels a little “cold” here, to be honest. If you had a shitload of followers on Twitter, you’re fine. If not, it’s really hard to find community. I’m still trying to find my way here. I am really enjoying Red Note, though. Sadly, there are pockets of MAGA there too, and just as hateful.

Our governor just signed a return to work executive order for all state employees w/ a remote work agreement (2 remote days per week). I’m curious how many people of those 10,800 people will leave. It’s going to cost me almost $300 in gas ea. month to drive to work 5 days a wk.

I don’t want this to be a high school popularity contest, I want to follow real people with real stories and real lives. I am one of those people. How do we get elevated and appreciate?

TikTok users, like me, are moving to Red Note as a big 🖕🏼to the U.S. government. If we just wanted video content we’d migrate to YouTube. It’s the notion of, “you think China (TikTok isn’t even owned by China, but whatever) is stealing more data that Meta? Bet. We’ll give it to them for free”.
