It's not to say Y7 didn't have those elements but it didn't feel like it was given as much room and gravity as it needed? I played Judgment before that and really really enjoyed it and the comparison felt weird because they both touch on elder abuse and medical fraud and government corruption

If you crush that down to a couple funny memes and the silly side plots, you lose a lot.

"This series is about the tragedies faced by those living outside of the draconian ideas about what it means to be a good citizen, through no fault of their own: the homeless, the impoverished, those in grey industries, immigrants, people who fall through the cracks in society." That's what drew me.

Thanks for articulating this; I really didn't enjoy Y7 and that particular branch of the series nearly as much to the confusion of my friends, and I really do think it comes down to the fact that the main plots are handled with a lot less gravity

Been seeing those in the stores for months while working and I was wondering; they look like they should just taste like sour apple, so I am glad that the mystery is now solved, albeit disgustingly

It's great, I strongly recommend it despite still not having finished it four years after I got it

Why not, if one has the fiddle and the desire

An unfortunate hard agree. I dunno man, I'm too old and tired to care anymore so I'm just gonna keep doin what I want.

Honestly I still like the colored noses. It's not "real" but who cares. I think people got mad because a lot of people started doing it but it still seemed dumb and overly nitpicky to me.

Well shit no wonder then

That's fair. If it's not vibing, it's not vibing.

This has been my experience at zine swaps and festivals, and as someone who actually prefers comics in black and white, it's such a breath of fresh air. Nothing wrong with color but it doesn't need to be The Only Way.

Fresh water, not conservative capitalist hellscape. Nothin' fresh about Tories

Imagine how freshwater must taste

I love it when a story circle closes the loop.

I love all three for different reasons and genuinely, Infinite is my favorite, but Burial at Sea was so fucking satisfying

There's a site called Blitz Fansub that has the entire thing. It's listed under Gokushufudo. If you search for that, it comes right up.
