Anyway, it's frightening to see fascist parties/movements built solely on hate gain global momentum. It's terrifying that being given even the smallest inch emboldens bigots, giving them the confidence to be louder and openly call for harm to be inflicted on others.

I am a queer, disabled woman. One of my neighbours is a young Indian woman who lives with her elderly father and little daughter. We had a grim conversation this morning about no longer feeling safe in the area. About an hour ago, our other neighbour started hanging flags in their window.
