The next, and last, home game for #JEFUnited is in two weeks, and is completely sold out.

The away kit honors the translation of the kanji characters which make up the word "Chiba": 「千葉」, which mean thousands of leafs: 千 = Thousand 葉 = Leafs. Many colored leaves are scattered across the kit.

#JEFUnited released kit designs for the Chaos Energy #JLeague Cup ™️. It will commemorate Chiba City's 900th anniversary. The home kit will have a watermark of Chiba Tsuneshige, a samurai who is considered the founder of the Chiba Clan.

I like it!

Nothing notable today besides Zain being back after a suspension.

Fun factoids!

Last time #JEFUnited played Fujieda #MyFC it was a cold and rainy day in April. We scored 3 before 30’ and Fujieda was able to quickly follow that up with 2.

Weather’s exactly the same today. JEF are hosting Fujieda; the last two times we’ve played it’s finished 3-2 to JEF. #WinByAll

Suarez posted a heartfelt message on Insta, thanking the fans for the season.

The injury was sustained during practice. No mention on rehab time has been mentioned.

He's done wonders for JEF, and has stats that put him close to the top of J2 keepers.

Wishing him the best recovery!

It’s been so long. Did Carlinhos always have a beard?

To quote the taxi driver, “Mito is a city with nothing to do, and the stadium is inconvenient.”

Found a local pub called The Drunken Duck. Got the chicken kebab. The waitress thought I was wearing a Brazil uniform.

Um, JEF is no longer listed on the FIFA transfer ban list, and still no explanation from anyone as to what happened or how it was resolved. 🤷

Getting this early entry is super nice for tomorrow’s match since 16,000 tickets have been sold. I believe this is a season high (excluding the 国立 match). #JEFUnited stadium holds 19k, so it’ll be practically full tomorrow, unless the rain deters the fare weather fans.

Very unimpressive return from the midsummer break, but in the end we ultimately were felled by our own hubris. Let this be a reminder for us, never forget the ギリギリタイム…

Today’s lineup for #JEFUnited against #Vegalta Sendai. Notably, Carlinhos is missing due to his yellow card from last weeks match, after negging a dead ball.

During yesterday's match, Carlinhos received a yellow card for nutmegging Vortis' FW16 Watari after a foul by JEF W42 Issaka outside Tokushima's area. With this card, he'll be suspended from the next game, away at Sendai.

I'm not even mad at Carlinhos, I'm just disappointed.😞

Results went #JEFUnited way yesterday. Mito losing to Jubilo, mean they're now in striking distance on points, with GD left to protect them. Sendai's draw keeps them close, but still more than a game's worth at bay. Let's see how Nagasaki/Tosu's 6pt derby plays out (a draw would be nice). #JLeague

It creates an unmatched atmosphere. The game itself was the loudest I’ve ever been to — even louder than the packed 50k match against Omiya at the National Stadium. It has personality, it _feels_ V-Varen, and it made me want to go back.

Still, it’s absolutely worth it. The view from the room never loses its novelty. There’s just something about waking up, cracking open the blinds, and seeing the picturesque Mt. Inasa overlooking a stadium bordered by the Uragami River.
