Great showing, a few hundred at the rally, lots of support from passing cars. Met Katherine Aleman who is running against Ken Calvert, endorsed by many in the party. Had no sign, so someone kindly gave me one.

If the data today points to lower grocery prices…well I can’t buy that, my experience in the last few months has been a much higher bill by a lot. Here’s one example. for just 3 chicken thighs.

3 chicken thighs for $9.03+0.79c tax. So it’s almost $10.00. Not chicken breast, not a whole chicken but just 3 thighs! Outrageous, it was the only meat I purchased today, beef was more expensive.

Today’s gas prices at the local station. Contrary to Ric Grenell post there is no $0.65 gas tax. This is on the low end for CA summer prices.
