My favorite thing would be if the conversation would go like this:

Hey Paula, we want to gift you something for your birthday? What do you want?

P: I would love a red backpack, sending you the link to the store right now.

Them: Awsome thanks.

And then get her exactly this.

Seems so inefficient and time wasting to me. (Or I just dislike it because talking to so many different people is involved…🫠)

So they just ask around until they find someone who happens to know Paula on an more intimate level?

I do too. My husband (NT) said he would “hear” that conversation but find it irrelevant (“why would I care what Paula’s favorite color is?”) and wouldn’t “store it” in his brain.
But he couldn’t explain how he would find gifts for Paula if not by gathering information nuggets like a squirrel.

I always have thought everyone would gather informations like this. Now I learn that it’s possibly not the case.

But how do people buy gifts???

Ich habe mal gehört einige hören auch über Libby. Weiß aber nicht wie gut das geht. Selbst nicht genutzt bisher.

Ich mag bookbeat, weil man da Hör-Stunden bezahlt und wenn’s doof ist ggf einfach das Buch wechseln kann.

Welches Buch hast du gehört?

Ja ist mir auch schon aufgefallen, weiß noch nicht wie ich das finde. Mal ein paar Tage beobachten ob es eher random mentions der Begriffe sind oder nützliche postings, würde ich sagen….🤔

Ganz neu gibt’s den Feed “Bücherhimmel”.

Wobei ich finde es müsste noch ein Mittleres Stundenkontingent geben. Manchmal sind 25h zu wenig und 100h viel zu viel. 40-50h wäre perfekt.
