First day back in Asia and I'm hitting all my favorite sushi joints. When I'm in Japan, I'm all for the most basic minimalist approach to sushi. But when I'm in Korea, I bathe in the fully stacked, over the top, pile it on and shove it down my gob gourmet deli experience 💋

I love my Bavarian blue. Its flavor is reminiscent of Roquefort but far less intense, it's a brie hybrid, so buttery and creamy. Cut into thick slabs that I can really sink my teeth into, it is the kind of lovingly indulgent treat I live for especially in winter.

I adore the little rag doll Santa I found at a local flea market, it conjures images of yesteryear Christmases when everything was lovingly handmade, painted, glued and stitched.
