I actually think we are past saving Labour. Saving the country requires that progressive coalition. If the greens or libs are the bigger part so what? As long as reform are stopped

Is this the answer for Europe? We identify his financial holdings and find ways to screw him personally? We then have some leverage. He cares not a jot for the US state, so if we have to threaten we can thereby show it’s him and his people, not the US per se? Drive a wedge…

Do they pipe LSD in through the AC?

I see the latest episode of Traitors has dropped

I very worried Trump actually dies or has a stroke and JD takes over. He will sell Ukraine down the river on day 1.
January 7, 2026 at 3:28 PM
Totally agree but put rearmament and National resilience programme needs to be implemented quietly as well as quickly. We need to ensure Trump doesn’t flip out, sell out Ukraine or deny us key intel until we are ready. Hideous balancing act.

Something is happening that is really worrying me. The US is NATO. Yet the language in the media suggests NATO is somehow autonomous, has agency apart from the US. SACEUR is an American general for God’s sake. The US is integral to NATO. And yet…

Hesgeth is a piece of weasel turd. Kelly has been under fire. Served in space. Hesgeth? A reservist with a TV show. I’m not American but I know a decent person from a shit. And Hesgeth is a petty little shit.

Chained to a post through 3 tides?
January 5, 2026 at 2:40 PM
They perceive low vulnerability to losing US military cooperation and are not leaders in the pro Ukraine coalition. So it’s easy for them.
January 4, 2026 at 2:18 PM
Should we nuke Washington if they do?
January 4, 2026 at 2:10 PM
Aye, and we need to stop and change the relationship. But it ain’t changed yet. And we pissed away the power of the EU. So we are stuck. Sucks. The SDR predated Vance’s speech which also sucks.
January 4, 2026 at 1:15 PM
The U.K. is dependent on US intelligence, spare parts and for continued support for Ukraine. He sounds off there could be no jets, no missiles and no replacement ammo for the Ukrainians. Plus a shit ton of tariffs to make us worse off. He is stuck.
January 4, 2026 at 12:57 PM
If you were Zelensky are you considering going nuclear this morning?
January 4, 2026 at 10:36 AM
Has he just signalled to every half assed dictator they should build nukes and to every democratic PM in Europe they cannot risk pissing him off?
January 4, 2026 at 10:35 AM
Oh yes! Tyburn Tree? Or, and this is a nice option, chained to a pile below the high water mark through three tides? Traditional punishment for pirates.
January 3, 2026 at 7:47 PM
Easy to say in opposition. We are dependent on the irascible and insane fool Trump for parts to keep our jets flying and Ukraine in the fight. Starmer has to make that stuff happen. So he has to be cautious. Sucks the hairy one. You’d do the same. Maybe you will in a few years. Hard choice.
January 3, 2026 at 4:32 PM
We will do our best. He’s a treasonous weasel turd
January 3, 2026 at 4:24 PM
Well we Brits got to Washington in 1812…want us to have another crack? Trouble is we don’t want him if we do get him…maybe exile him to those Penguin Islands he put a tariff on?
January 3, 2026 at 3:25 PM
Yeah, but we are desperate for Trump not to abandon Ukraine. And we all need spares for our our F35s. Man, we need to get defence independence sorted.
January 3, 2026 at 12:08 PM
One bright side. Kidnapping Maduro might lead to fewer deaths. Dark side. Kidnapping foreign leaders makes a mockery of diplomacy and dissolves trust between nations. Will China go for the Taiwanese President now? Russia for Estonia’s?
January 3, 2026 at 9:42 AM
It won’t work for a simple reason. The consultant workforce in private care is the same as that in the NHS. There is no extra capacity. He either knows this and is a cynical tool of private insurance. Or doesn’t and is a fool. I suspect halfway between both.
