Finished Stephen King's It. Pretty remarkable story about abuse and how it perpetuates in cycles. Everyone in Derry knows something is wrong, but the secret maintains the cycle. It's true for "It" & mental, physical abuse of/by the ppl.

So in The Sandlot, Bill just keeps the ‘27 Yankees ball. He is perfectly fine with accepting the story that stranger just gave it to his stepson. He is perfectly fine with the financial reward this entails. Bill’s selfishness knows no bounds.

A show like HBO’s Rome, but it’s the Amarna period of the 18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Tracing from Akhenaten’s monotheistic rule leading to his expulsion from Thebes by the priests; to Tutankhamen’s murder by the power hungry vizier, Ay; to Horemheb’s military coup.
