All good points. I was using my old bike as a winter bike during the lockdowns when I'd go up to see Kiddo. It's heavy and has great tires for the weather but for some reason, it hurts my knees so I sold it to a friend.

I should do this more. Also: I should get a new winter bike....or maybe a bike share membership.

I fall into this trap a lot, too.
