Seconding this advice! When I want to really key in to a certain genre, studying what already works and is well received is a good tool. I've done this for writing comedy and it helps to get inspired for timing and different types of humor. ❤️

I forgot to add, this was the first time they held the event since 2018! I'm really proud of their revival of the event, especially because I lamented a lot about them "killing my baby" after i graduated haha

I'm so proud of the Terrapin Anime Society and can't wait to see how the event grows in the years to come💖

I ran the @lumikhacosplay.com booth there, selling a good handful of secondhand #cosplay and talking to lots of prospective future cosplayers♥ I was also thanked by so many members of the anime club for "creating something so amazing" which I felt a little bashful at, but the praise was welcome haha
