People being upset about Dan Sullivan not having a town hall in Anchorage is arrogance? It’s half the effing state! Not holding them because all we want is to create viral moments? No we want answers! “The ultimate town hall”was with the elected reps in the state legislature. Piss off. All the way.

Civics is so important! And sooo not taught. In elementary school, two hours of reading and an hour of phonics instruction/more reading takes a huge chunk out of our available time. Reading is essential, but so is being an informed citizen.

Amen! Shutting down public education shuts down the need to deal with an informed, angry mob of citizens when you’re an oligarch trying to take over the government, do away with a constitution, block legal rights, kill institutional oversight and erode government services. Education=Knowledge=Power.
