I think with the Iranian govt controlling the internet there, both within the country and comms with outside, it is very hard to do the corroborating work to get totals in a robust way.

And to be fair: those policies may not be all bad. Eg I learned that Bloomberg proposed free buses back in the day - how ‘socialist’ !

Read it on Substack - thanks. It is good. I don’t quite get the freak out happening with NY Dem establishment - or maybe I do, a bit. Just because someone leans quite left doesn’t mean instant ‘socialism’. It takes time for policies to become law and mayors can’t instantly enact sweeping things.

I will read with interest. Hhaven’t tried coding with AI (tbh, not much coding at all for me last 10 years!) but for *writing* I find the AI use can be “getting started” in that it comes up with something when asked, but I immediately realize I could never submit that something - so I rewrite 99 pct

Good points. Ironic isn’t it that those outside the US still perceive US as the highest example of “the most freedom” when it may quickly be becoming not so.
While not wishing for violence, I do think a large proportion of firearms owners are or will not support Trump if their benefits get cut.

It’s a good reminder to me. I get really mad but then I need to take a few breath and commit to demonstrating those positive qualities. It’s the best “revenge”
