Saw this stunner yesterday & first looked like squash vine borer in flight. Then I saw it was a fly. Looked it up today, it's a tachinid: Trichopoda pennipes, a parasite on squash bugs (which I also have in droves!) now I wonder if fly gal here is mimicking SVB and what wasp are they all mimicking?
