Great opportunity to listen to local education leaders. It’s not about telling schools what to do, it’s about creating partnerships and opportunities for the people who know their schools, students, and communities best to take action.

Minnesotans are looking for unity, common-sense solutions, and real results. That’s why we’ve doubled our efforts to support local food shelves. Community supporting community, that’s how we make a difference.

Food Rescue Friday. Passing on the tradition to my son. Teaching him the value of community, compassion, and action. Because fighting food insecurity starts right in our own backyard.

Are these the policies that protect our communities? Thank you law enforcement leaders for standing up.
Low level traffic stops have gotten over 175 illegally possessed guns off the street. Why would we allow criminals to thrive in Hennepin County? #publicsafety #badpolicy #commonsense #solutions
Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty’s office will no longer prosecute most felony cases arising from low-level traffic stops, arguing that law enforcement have disproportionately targeted minorities for equipment and moving violations.
Mary Moriarty announces Hennepin County will stop charging cases from low-level traffic stops
The office will no longer pursue cases that stem from police stops for reasons like broken taillights by an otherwise safe driver. Moriarty said the policy change stems from historical targeting of Black drivers.

Providing more options and opportunities for people that will thrive with the use of a service dog is why I co-authored this legislation. The impacts of this legislation will support so many families across Minnesota. #TogetherWeCan #mnleg #YourBackyard #listening #workingtogether
Starting today, service dogs in training are exempt from HOA and apartment rules that don’t allow dogs.

We’re making sure these hard workers are trained and ready to do their jobs before they’re placed in their forever home.
