For too long, government has worked phenomenally well for the 1% and corporate lobbyists — I happen to think now is the time that government worked for the rest of us.

Only a third of these plays were in person, but it feels good to be playing more games.

www.opensecrets.org is a reliable source for campaign finance. You can search for specific companies and view political donations to parties and candidates. Remember to also consider the type of ownership, treatment of workers, and ethical policies when deciding whether to support a business.

So this infographic tells me a few things about 2024. Mostly that I didn't play enough games, but also that I was really terrible about logging plays of the games that I did play. 2025 seems to be off to a much better start and I'm really going to make the effort to keep better data.

This morning I thought, "Hey, it would be cool to have a comic that was published that year on my birth month." Well... let's just say I won't be getting an issue of Fantastic Four #48 anytime soon. The Silver Surfer and Galactus showed on Earth a week or so before I did.
