Working on an orangutan sculpture. It started as a different sculpture, shown in 2nd pic; however, I wasn’t satisfied w how the piece was working. It morphed into the first pic. Not sure yet what the orangutan will hold, but whatever object it will move between hands and feet; mixed clay bodies.

The orangutan was gas fired to cone 10 this past week. Multiple clay bodies. I put a pocket watch in instead of an hourglass because the hourglass wasn’t as sophisticated as I think it needed to be. Titled, “running out of time.”

Leopard head just came out of the gas fired kiln. Multiple clay bodies. Porcelain clay for the white accents and engobes.

Willie B Jr, western lowland gorilla at the zoo Atlanta. In the picture, he has his leg in a tube that he apparently likes to play with. Multiple clay bodies, gas fired to cone 10. No glazes, just engobes.

My lion wall hanging just came out of the salt/soda kiln. Doug put it on the floor of the kiln where a lot of the soda gathered. No glazes just engobes. I included the bisqued piece to slow the results. Goes along w my beaded animals I got in South Africa😊

If you make a campaign promise as specific as you will "immediately bring prices down, starting on day one," then I don't want to hear any shit excuses about why you're not doing it.
