A service dog that has it in its blood since day 1 would be amazing for disabled people. And perhaps I should make that too. What do y'all think? Does it exist already?

Thank you @mira222.bsky.social for following me and sorry I've been mia for a while, life has been busy. I was also thinking: why not make another perfect dog breed but for disabled people? Sure German Shepherds, Labrador and Golden Retrievers do this job well, but, they weren't' designed for it.

All these follow are making me smile :)

Sorry for not posting for a while, things in my life have been going on. I will still be advocating for this breed while also juggling over ambitious projects. Maybe I may connect them to this.

23 followers! A nice surprise. Sorry I haven't been on the app/web version lately. Been busy drafting the standard for this breed. Yeah, it doesn't exist yet but better to have a clearer idea than none and leading those who join this project blindly.

This breed will not be too small nor too large. The aim is 40 to 55 lbs. This will make sure this breed can handle some rough housing either while playing or protecting but make it harder to develop hip and/or elbow dysplasia — the opp of all dog breeds.

Because it's not impossible. The American Bully is a near perfect companion breed. Pity it's brachycephalic.
