Zunyite is an aluminum sorosilicate hydroxide fluoride chloride mineral, it is a collector’s stone named for its discovery in the legendary Zuni mines of Co.
Zunyite doesn’t contain many dangerous elements, but it does have high toxicity risk if ingested or swallowed. #Teampoison #teamflouesent

I already voted. :-( Trying to beat the clock. But appreciate the info and passion! Maybe it will win!

Well that's certainly cool!!

Heyyyy!! 👋🏻 Dang! I'm having a horrible go of it. I think I've only won one bracket. 😆 I've never done this badly. I'm the kiss of failed minerals. I hope you are well #FlouriteSister! 🙌🏻

I'm backing those radiant crystals of #Wavellite. Dioptase is pretty 'n' all but those beautiful botryoidal bumps win the day for me! Vote vote vote for the wavy one! #MinCup25 #VoteWavellite #HelpMeWinABracket

Dioptase is very pretty with that rare colour. But #Wavellite has undeniable alien star quality, and gets my vote.

I was going to vote for #azurite because it is beautiful and a copper ore. But now I’m learning about #kosmochlor, and I’m intrigued.
I’ll collect more interesting facts before casting my vote

I caved to the meteorite. #Kosmochlor is a cool name and is associated with meteorites. And sometimes a rare mineral needs to shine! Also big thank you to Mindat for running a link/banner on the candidates to bring more people in! Very cool! #MinCup25 #VoteKosmochlor!

Finally an easy one! Of course no question, living in Arizona #Azurite for the win! As proof take a look at one of the most popular photos I ever got- a quick snap from a P&S camera. #MinCup25
It’s often found with green malachite.
For more visit my Flickr albums. I own way too many specimens.

Stunning! Swaying....

This is tough. I have azurite specimens. It's found in Virginia. But...pleochroism! Have to vote soon...I'm losing out to the GMT clock! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Good point!

I went to my pharmacy to check on the Covid vaccines and found out I have to have a prescription. RFK is a dangerous threat to American health! Since 2020, I've never needed a Rx for a life-saving vaccine.
