I’ll add that in 2019 the National Assembly of Venezuela declared that madulo had usurped power, and over 50 countries have refused to recognize him as head of state. So by that technicality, he does not posses diplomatic immunity.

My original comment, was not in support of his arrest, it’s basically nonexistent as for as legality. It was to state that you should say his removal is bad for the state, or support his regime minions. It’s bad taste

The United States of America, as a nation, has authority of arrest criminals. Thought that would be evident. Madulo, by virtue of being a narco terrorist at the head of an illegitimate government, does not have nearly as many protections as a normal head of state. Big words there, sorry.
