When I was younger, I would say, "I hate" this person or that person. I don't think I really knew what it meant to hate someone until this year. 2016 came close, but this year doesn't hold a candle to that.

I hated that my government worker daughter wasn't getting a paycheck, but we knew why it was important to hold out. I have another daughter that just signed up for "Obamacare". I'm so disappointed in those Senators.
