This hits. I’ve been on a rant for years that it began with Jerry Springer and metastasized from there. Also, a redistribution of truth would be welcome. And…if truth causes shame, maybe the thing one did or said was shite.

My mom pulled me out of school to see the Elizabeth Taylor version mainly because it was the first with a $1,000,000 budget. I was 13 so was not impressed given that she pulled me out to see Psycho when I was 10. That dent in the mattress still haunts me.

Its important to me to find books over 300 pages so when one I know I’ll love cracks 400, I’m thrilled. Its greedy reading.
