Project for a monument to Lenin in an ancient Egyptian style. Lenin’s hands rest on two steles bearing reliefs of Marx and Engels. The monument was planned for construction in the Leningrad commercial port. Designed by Iosif Grigorievich Langbard, circa 1931.

The appreciation of male nudity in abandoned buildings is pretty niche. That being said, a few months ago I ventured into a disused water-treatment plant from the ’50s — and I did so in the nude. Sadly, I didn’t take any pictures of myself inside, just a video clip outside.
