Also, on a more positive note, that baby has a cousin who was born about a month prior, both new mums and babies were hanging out at the grandma on one of the videos I saw, so it seems like they have a close family unit.

On the last video I saw, they were both out of the hospital. The baby had a bowel movement during the birth, so he needs to get his eyes checked for infections.
The woman who filmed it all is the grandma and I'm so glad she recorded it.

The baby actually might have some consequences from the stressful birth (last I saw they were running some tests) and it seems that this hospital is known for this... It made me so angry, but at least both the mum and child are still alive, and hopefully something will be done

Unfortunately, that is the most likely explanation.
It's so horribly to see how little some of the so-called "leaders" care about Congolese people.

I'm very curious to know if all the people coming willy-nilly to pillage our ressources are also subjected to that nonsense, or if it's really reserved for the ones who just want to visit our country with good intentions... kmt
