I got confused now. What I am?

Today I got the news that the puppy of one of my dogs is gone. I felt so sad and sorry about it. How I wish I am with them right now, to hug the mommy dog because I know she is also sad losing her puppy.

Sometimes I feel alone and wanting to stop, because I feel no one cares if I succeed or not. But then I realize that I live for my self not because of anyone else
