Mervyn has an English accent (ala Dorian/British inquisitor accent) until he speaks Elven. then there’s Welsh in there!
For some reason tho my mind keeps imagining his child voice with an American accent when like. Canonically he definitely doesn’t. I just struggle to imagine English kid voices 🥴

Derwyn was at first VERY wary of Dorian, but quickly felt himself pulled in after the encounter with his dad. He realized that, despite having very different lives, they face similar problems re not being accepted for queerness. He suddenly wanted to trust Dorian, and let Dorian trust him too.

5) Cae loves sparring and learning to fight. He‘s had a dagger collection since he was a kid, unbeknownst to his parents. They were never explicitly discouraged to, especially since all their brothers enjoyed to spar too.

3) Cae has 10 older brothers! About half of them are bio kids to their parents while the rest are adopted like him. He feels bad so many of them were pushed to be soldiers, and face major consequences in their lives because of it. He has no issue with any of them, but wishes he didn’t have so many
