A week after the fact, he gets his Termination Notification from an HR lady whom he knew and had always been friendly with...

She suggests he try for unemployment, so he does, thinking if we can get at least a little cash it would help us, while waiting for SSDI...

Now, picture my husband going blind from glaucoma, having to go on FMLA, burning through his PTO, and then being released from his job because there are no positions he can fill as a blind person.

Whoops. It already happened there. A 30oz carton of coffee, which used to be $8.99-$9.99, is now $18.99-$19.99.
