There are usually two ways of getting to the library. One is inaccessible due to road works. The other is inaccessible due to inconsiderate parking. Trying to get around in a wheelchair is wildly frustrating.

There was one cable we didn’t cover up. There were only a few centimetres of it, and it was much too thin for the tubing we had. “It’ll be fine,” we said to each other, fools that we were.

Today when we woke up the WiFi was down. After some time investigating, my partner noticed this plug.
A plug with less than a centimetre of cable remaining. It has been industriously chewed through.

Melkor has been so good and sweet and affectionate today that I almost think he knows that he’s due to be neutered tomorrow and is hoping to get out of it by good behaviour.

Some trees manage to look magnificent when they’ve shed their leaves, and I think this is one of them. How lovely.
