And there’s a big button to grab donations on the tst site, that doesn’t actually go to combat food insecurity. Just to their general fund… it’s misleading to folks clicking their links and wanting to help.

If you want to help, dig in and help. Just like a lot of us are. But don’t lift up an org like they’re some kind of savior when truth be told, the churches are doing a hell of a lot more than they can. Because they simply do not have the power or funds to do it. Period.

It’s simply not possible. Now, you might see congregations doing food drives for pantries, but they have ALWAYS done those, and it isn’t “feeding the folks who lost snap”. It’s doing what Satanists do. We try to help. Other Satanic groups do the same. Individual Satanists do the same sometimes too.

It’s simply not possible. Now, you might see congregations doing food drives for pantries, but they have ALWAYS done those, and it isn’t “feeding the folks who lost snap”. It’s doing what Satanists do. We try to help. Other Satanic groups do the same. Individual Satanists do the same sometimes too.
There are not enough volunteers, no employees that I am aware of, and the campaign was completely dead just one year ago. It isn’t logistically possible that they rebuilt it, with all the labor, infrastructure, funding and plans needed, to handle something so large scale and nationwide, in a year

It isn’t real. Not even remotely. But these days, it seems like any middle aged white dude can put on some black clothes, say he’s gonna be the adversary and combat Christian nationalism, and then set up a substack and collect subscription fees….

It’s damned bizarre to see tst being labeled as some sort of savior here, by some folks. There are people from every group, every belief, that are trying to help with this. And Satanists are a small group, in the grand scheme of things. But yeah, I agree

The folks organizing food drives are people in congregations, who are doing it to benefit local pantries and whatnot. TST itself has done nothing and said nothing about the issue. It’s not tst helping. It’s Satanists helping. It’s mutual aid. Satanists have always done this.
