I started ringing church bells when I was 8 - fell out of it at about 14 - took it up again this year (in Feb) after a 25 year break and tonight rang my first 1/4 peal (unplanned and pretty impromptu). Very happy with that :)

We adorned the cross with fresh flowers throughout the hymns in the service which was very beautiful and hopeful. Life is stronger than death.

Horizons.

Was enamoured by the Letizia Battaglia exhibition at the Photographers Gallery. She was known for bravely photographing the mafia violence of Palermo but also for capturing the beauty of the city and the people who lived (and died) there. These two images really stood out for me.

My aunty gave me this - I think it’s mother of pearl and it’s from Bethlehem (says on the back) - does anyone recognise it as a symbol?
