Shaman is more of a hybrid, something between Eve and Greek mythology: they were born from a fragment of Lancer, fueled by Longan's magic to try and save Lancer from having their hearts ripped out by snakes (hello Snake Fruit).

Lancer was strongly inspired by Pygmalion, the man who fell in love with his own sculpture. A creation made by Longan's hands and for which they are deeply attached. An artificial but unique creation, which responds to no logic and can imitate the living better than anything else.

The most powerful of all dragons. I tend to have a parallel between Longan and Emet-Selch from FF14: two ancient entities, trying to bring back a lost and bygone era, at the sacrifice of many lives. I consider Longan to be really powerful in terms of pure "power".
