It's wild more people aren't asking out in the open: if they say it's about security, and they've always been able to put bases there as needed, what more does "acquiring" Greenland provide them?

Yeah there has been such a historic buildup of internalized manifest destiny and American Exceptionalism for so long, I am certain they all try to Rambo their way out of it all.

Another thing is, up here in Canada, I don't think people are considering the additional perspective that it seems clear a take over of Greenland would box in Canada on both sides.

This is an interesting perspective indeed what I always wonder about the whole "tanking the US economy" thing is how likely it would be that a gang of billionaire sycophants would just all simultaneously take one for "the team" and absorb/prop up things. Could they? For how long?
