Tip: type out full paths like `cd ~/devel/my-project` in zsh and then use Ctrl+r later to get to them quickly from any other directory. No real need for zoxide, and shows you exactly where it will go.

I started a discussion on the ghostty GitHub repo about the default Linux fallback emoji font. Add `font-family = Noto Color Emoji` to config and use text "🌨 27°F ↑13mph" to see the difference. github.com/ghostty-org/... #ghostty

Ghostty is a new terminal emulator program for macOS and Linux that has recently had a 1.x (currently 1.0.1) release. I've made the following gist available to explain how to use it together with tmux to have a consistent copy-and-paste experience: gist.github.com/mwolson/b079... #ghostty #tmux

I just set up Ghostty, and coming from iTerm 2, the performance improvement is immediately noticeable.

I love software like Ghostty because it's so obvious it's made with much love and craft.
